A SACRED PRACTICE OF WRITING THE DIVINE NITHYANANDA DWADASHI MANTRA “OM NAMO BHAGAVATHE NITHYANANDAYA” FOR 12 LAKH TIMES FOR PURIFICATION OF THE CONSCIOUSNESS

Nithyananda Ashram Kanhangad inaugurated a new devotional practice for the devotees of Bhagwan Nithyananda at Guruvanam on Dattatreya Jayanti on December 29, 2020 at 12:21 pm by Pujya Yogananda Saraswati Kondevoor Swami of Shree Nithyananda Yogashrama, Uppala, Kondevoor.

In this sadhna, the devotees write the divine mantra “Om Namo Bhagawathey Nithyanandaya ” as many times as possible. The idea is to use the karmindriyas {senses of action), and during this divine sadhana, to write the divine mantras repeatedly is to use the hands, eyes and mind (trikarna) fixated on the divine mantra. Directly on indirectly the consciousness is influenced by the reverberations of the divine Mantra – Om  Namo Bhagavathey Nithyanandaya.

The divine mantra OM NAMO BHAGAVATHE NITHYANANDAYA
is a Dwadashi Mahamantra as it contains 12 divine syllables –

Om – Na – Mo – Bha – Ga – Va – The – Nith – Ya – Nan – Da – Ya

The ashram inspires devotees to write this mantra as much as possible on neat notebooks in any language dear to the devotees. Ideally, the Dwadashi Mahamantra bears great fruit if it can be written 12 lakh times, equivalent of achieving a siddhi. While writing the mind, hands, and eyes are fully engaged in the mantra and if the devotee becomes fully conscious of the divine act, there can be nothing as powerful as this sadhana. It also purifies one’s consciousness and all unwanted desires keep rooting out and only higher desires become more prevalent.

The books which are filled up, needs to be submitted to the ashram. Once the books are deposited to the ashram, the ashram will issue a passbook that will have an update of how many mantras has been written and submitted by the devotee. Upon submitting 12 lakh mantras, the devotee will be gifted with a small golden memorabilia a token of reverence for the divine act.

Please note that anyone from any part of the world can begin this, but you account with the ashram will begin only after you begin submitting your notebooks. You may submit it in person at the ashram or you may post it to the ashram address with your complete details. After acknowledging what you have sent your details will be registered and a passbook issued to you, after which you can continue submitting your written mantras.
